This summer, steam locomotive no. 765 will operate round-trips each day between Detroit (4200 Allen Road, Allen Park) and Fort Wayne, Indiana. Departing Allen Park at 8AM, passengers will arrive in downtown Fort Wayne at noon to experience the city’s Three Rivers Festival, Indiana’s second largest festival. After disembarking at the elevated railroad station, passengers can enjoy Art in the Park and Crafter’s Market at Freimann Square, downtown midway, food alley, historic Old Fort, and Headwaters Park during the layover.

Join us for the largest D-Day Conneaut ever!
Once again D-Day Ohio, Inc. will invade the Lake Erie shores of Conneaut, Ohio, and stage the largest D-Day (1944) living history reenactment in the country. Featuring nearly 1,000 reenactors from across the US and Canada, spectators witness men, women, and their machines perform a living tribute to the veterans of WWII through dress, mock battles, and living history displays.
Come join us at this Admission FREE event and experience what many call the most realistic and educational D-Day reenactment showcasing the WWII era.
The event occurs within the beautifully kept grounds of Conneaut Township Park, in Conneaut, Ohio. Just off Interstate 90 (Exit 241), 5 miles west of the Pennsylvania border, Conneaut is just about half way between Cleveland Ohio and Erie Pennsylvania. There’s plenty of free parking with speedy shuttles. *Entry is free but donations of any size are always appreciated.

World War I Dawn Patrol Rendezvous – Commemorate the 100th anniversary of the start of World War I in Europe as one of the nation’s premier historical aviation events brings the excitement and adrenaline of early air power to Ohio. The three-day World War I Dawn Patrol Rendezvous features vintage original and reproduction WWI aircraft, radio-controlled models, era automobiles, period re-enactors and a collector’s show. Each November the members of the “Miami Valley” Division 3 of the National Model Railroad Association (NMRA), Inc., Mid-Central Region sponsor an annual train show. The show is one of many events through which our members experience fellowship, inspiration, knowledge and growth in the pursuit of a creative and rewarding hobby. Many new things and exhibits are planned for 2014, so make plans to come on out to Hara Arena,
